This training will cover foundational skills in safety planning and deescalation/marshaling for those leading the planning of No Kings events. In tandem with the Making a Safety Plan trainings, this training will focus on skill-building and scenario planning for safety moments. All new No Kings hosts should plan to attend this training. Returning No Kings hosts are invited to attend to brush up on skills and be better prepared to train others!

Join this intensive training to create a movement from your No King’s event that’s built to last and WIN! In this training you’ll learn how to turn your No Kings attendees into activists, create new leaders and empower the ones you have, address stress and burnout, collaborate with existing organizations and more. Organizing is at the heart of every movement - come learn new skills or freshen up. This intensive will be led by nationally renowned leaders from Voices of Florida Fund. It is brought to you by No Kings in partnership with 50501.

Intended to offer deepened skill-building across our movements, this 201 training is a great fit for experienced No Kings hosts or new hosts with extra capacity, and will cover extended safety & deescalation scenario planning as well as basic training on how to train your own volunteers on elements of deescalation and marshaling. This training works in tandem with the Making a Safety Plan training to match those logistics and assessment questions with skills to use in the moment and support others.

This one‑hour virtual overview, led by AFSC, provides No Kings safety marshals across the country with the foundational skills needed to support safe, grounded, lawful, and powerful nonviolent actions. Because this is an online session, we focus on the essentials: understanding marshal roles, guiding marches, communicating with participants, using de‑escalation rooted in dignity and teamwork, and responding calmly to higher‑risk situations.
