No Kings hosts and safety leads, join us for a training on how to put together a local safety plan for March 28. This training is part of our overall offerings on safety and deescalation for No Kings, and will cover a process and template you can use to assess your local circumstances and make a plan for you and your attendees to be safe, brave, and powerful together on March 28.

This training will cover foundational skills in safety planning and deescalation/marshaling for those leading the planning of No Kings events. In tandem with the Making a Safety Plan trainings, this training will focus on skill-building and scenario planning for safety moments. All new No Kings hosts should plan to attend this training. Returning No Kings hosts are invited to attend to brush up on skills and be better prepared to train others!

Intended to offer deepened skill-building across our movements, this 201 training is a great fit for experienced No Kings hosts or new hosts with extra capacity, and will cover extended safety & deescalation scenario planning as well as basic training on how to train your own volunteers on elements of deescalation and marshaling. This training works in tandem with the Making a Safety Plan training to match those logistics and assessment questions with skills to use in the moment and support others.

In this ACLU-led training, participants will learn about the Constitutional right to peacefully protest and about best practices for reducing risks when attending protests like the upcoming No Kings mobilization on March 28.

Join Interfaith Alliance for a training focused on planning a pre-mobilization interfaith gathering. Topics will include developing a moral framing, recruitment, coordination with No Kings 3 local organizers, roles, and safety planning.
